Rinse lentils with fresh water. Cook on stovetop using 3 cups of water per cup of lentils, bring to boil, cover tightly, simmer 15-20 minutes until tender. Season with salt after cooking - if salt is added during cooking they can become tough.
Great for soups, salad or Megadarra (a famous Egyptian dish)
