Porridge Ideas – Choc Porridge with Banana

Porridge Ideas – Choc Porridge with Banana

Ingredients

  • 1 cup traditional rolled oats (Olympic, of course!)
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 - 2 cups skim milk (or water)

Method

  1. Add cocoa powder and brown sugar to dry oats. Stir to combine, then add milk (or water).
  2. Add to a small saucepan.  Bring to the boil, then reduce to medium heat, stirring for 5 minutes, or until oats are thick and creamy
  3. Serve with banana slices
